Alexandria and Everette had an outdoor setting for their intimate wedding ceremony at the Morgan City Auditorium Gazebo in Morgan City, Louisiana. The gazebo is surrounded by cypress trees, creating a natural setting for their ceremony. The McDonalds celebrated their love with a wedding day filled with heartfelt moments and memories. Their day began as they got ready separately, each anticipating the moment they would finally see one another.

Before the ceremony, Alexandria and Everette shared a private first look. They exchanged letters they had written to each other, taking a moment together before continuing with their wedding day.

Alexandria honored the memory of her father, who had passed away, by reserving a seat for him during the ceremony. As each bridesmaid walked down the aisle, she placed a white rose on the seat. Alexandria followed, placing her own rose as a tribute to her father. Although he could not physically be there, this moment allowed his memory to remain part of her wedding day.

Everette also incorporated his heritage into the celebration by wearing a kilt. With their loved ones gathered around them, Alexandria and Everette exchanged vows in front of the gazebo and officially began their lives together as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, guests continued the celebration at Nico Bella. The reception was filled with laughter and dancing as everyone celebrated the newlyweds. Glow sticks filled the dance floor as the couple and their guests celebrated the night and helped them “let love glow.”

From the private first look and handwritten letters to Alexandria’s tribute to her father and Everette’s kilt, their wedding day included moments that reflected who they are and the people who are important to them.
